If you do not have a social media account, it is not in your best interest to establish one upon separation from your spouse or during your custody dispute. If you have a social media account, you must remember that anything posted on the internet can and will be used against you as evidence in your family law matter.
Photos and messages shared on these sites can be easily taken out of context to be used against you. It is also important to make sure to use passwords that cannot be easily decoded.
