Update to Gay Marriage in PA: Corbett Will Not Appeal
Corbett Will Not Appeal Same-Sex Marriage Ruling
PennLive.com is reporting that Governor Tom Corbett will not appeal U.S. District Court Judge John Jones, III’s, decision yesterday which overturned the Commonwealth’s ban on same-sex marriage. This means that yesterday’s decision will stand, and same-sex couples in Pennsylvania will be able to marry without the fear that the ban will be reinstated by a higher court.
